ED case: D K Shivakumar gets bail

New Delhi: Former Karnataka minister D K Shivakumar has finally got the much awaited bail. High Court has granted him a conditional bail on October 23.

Shivakumar has to furnish two surety for Rs 25 lakh to complete the procedure.

Shivakumar has been instructed not to leave the country without the permission of the court.

Shivakumar who will be returning to Tihar Jail, and will be let out only after the court order reaches jail authorities. He is expected to be released on October 24.

Shivakumar was arrested by enforcement directorate in a money laundering case on September 3.

Enforcement directorate has booked a case under prevention of money laundering Act (PMLA).
