Double murder! Petty thief arrested for killing two including his brother

Mysuru: In a case akin to a cinema story, a man who allegedly murdered two persons including his brother over a petty issue is arrested by Hunsur policemen.
Muniya a petty thief is arrested for allegedly murdering his brother Raju and relative Rachaiah. The trio are petty thieves and were into stealing motor pumpsets from the farms.
Rachaiah had been pestering for his share from the ill-gotten money. Irked, the brothers Muniya and Raju had allegedly hacked Rachaiah to death on August 28. They had burnt the body at Gowdanakatte near Hunsur.
Later, the differences of opinion emerged between the brothers. One among them Raju was adamant on returning home. However Muniya was against his brother’s advise for the fear of being caught by the police.
Eventually Raju had decided to return home all alone, only to face the wrath of his brother.
Muniya had dropped boulder on Raju’s head at Akki Hebbal in K R Pet, Mandya killing him on the spot.
Muniya had gone into a hiding later.
