District minister Somashekar provides 520 food kits to artistes

Mysuru: Cooperation and district incharge Minister S T Somashekar on Wednesday handed over food kits to film and professional theatre artists in the city.
A total of 520 kits- 120 for film artistes and 400 for theatre artistes were handed over on the premises of Kalamandira in the city.
In case of any more kits, the district minister will be providing them, said Assistant Director of Kannada and Culture department H Chennappa.
Covid vaccination was also launched on the occasion.
Agriculture Minister B C Patil, MUDA Chairman H V Rajeev, Mylac Chairman H V Phaneesh, DC Dr Bagadi Gautham, ZP CEO A M Yogesh, MCC Commissioner Lakshmikanth Reddy G, DCP Geetha Prasanna, theatre persons C Basavalingaiah, Mandya Ramesh and others were present.
