Dinga, Sandalwood’s first movie shot on iPhone to hit screens on January 31

Mysuru: Asia’s first Kannada movie to be shot on iPhone “Dinga Be positive” is all set to hit over 100 screens across the State on January 31. It includes about 80 theatres and 30 multiplexes.
Mysuru based Mayakara Productions’ Muguru Madhu Dixith told media persons on January 28 “It’s a first ever movie completely shot in IPhone with lens imported from USA. We have not compromised with quality of the movie.
Abhishek Jain who has wielded the megaphone, apart from sharing screen space said “the movie is a first of it’s kind experiment in Kannada in the country. The plot revolves around a cancer patient and his lovely pet dog. Mysurean and actor Arva Gowda and Anusha Rodriguez ( Sriman Srimati TV serial fame) are in the lead roles. Jayanth Manjunath has handled the camera”, he added.
The movie will be a new trendsetter in sandalwood. The songs and trailer are popular on social media platforms. Especially on tik-tok, our song has attracted 30 lakh people, Jain claimed.
Actor Arava who had a debut with theatre before foraying into small screen and now big screen appealed to the movie buffs to watch the flick in theatre and encourage the new experiment in Sandalwood.
Dheeraj Enterprises is distributing the movie across the State.
