Malgudi Days! Vijay Raghavendra to live the role of a septuagenarian

Mysuru: Actor Vijay Raghavendra who is eagerly waiting for the release of his next movie ‘Malgudi Days’ on February 7, described it as his lifetime memorable film.

“I haven’t just essayed a role in the movie, but I feel the character with every breath”, said Vijay Raghavendra who is still known for his award winning role in Chinnarimuttha.

There is no single line message, as the whole movie itself is a sensitive subject, the Sandalwoiod truly deserved. Songs and scenes have come out well. There are no fighting scenes because some movies should be devoid of fights and bloodbath, as the story doesn’t make space for such scenes, he claimed. 

The motion poster of the film will be launched on February 1.
 
Vijay Raghavendra who is aged 40 years in real life, is enacting a role of a 70-year-old man Lakshminarayan Malgudi in the movie.
 
To don the make-up alone, he used to spend four hours. Kudos to Roshan a make-up artiste from Kerala whose creativity turned Vijay into a senior citizen on the big screen. 
 
Vijay Raghavendra, Greeshma Sridhar, Arjun Kapikad and Dhanaraj C M have acted in the movie.

 
Director Kishore Moodbidri clarified that except for the title of the movie, it is not connected to a television series of the similar title that was directed by late actor Shankar Nag in 90s. 
 
K Rathnakar Kamath is the producer, Music score is by Gagan Baderia, cinematography by Uday Leela and editing by Pradeep Nayak.
