Dasara website launched; online quiz to test your mettle

Mysuru: Less than a month is left to launch navaratri festivities on September 29 and the preparations are on at full gear.
Dasara website- www.mysoredasara.gov.in was launched and the posters of the festival were released at Jaladarshini Guest House in the city on August 31.
District minister V Somanna who launched the website has said “the website has been made compatible both for laptops and cellphones”.
The information related to the festival and the tourist spots in and around are available in Kannada, English and 10 other languages. The programme and venues are integrated with google calendar.
Interested people can also upload photos related to Dasara on the website by using thehashtag#Mysuru Dasara. The prominent programmes will also be screened live on the website.
Five online quiz contest is organised and five winners from each contest will be given prizes. Separate pages are created on the website to provide a platform for the netizens to share their views.
The details related to various sub-committees of Dasara is also available.
The website has been linked to the website of prominent departments of the government.
