Dasara 2023: Sharannavarathri rituals begins at Mysore Palace

Mysuru: The Mysore Palace witnessed the launch of Sharannavarathri Utsav preparations from October 9 at the Mysore Palace. This Dasara including the khasgi darbar is private to Wadiyar family.
In the morning, religious rituals began with Navagraha homa at 7.15 am. Later between 10.05 am and 10.35 am, the Golden throne was assembled. In view of assembling of the Golden throne, tourists’ entry to Mysore Palace us restricted. Members of the royal community also offered puja to Pattada Aane, Pattada Kudure and Pattada Kudure at 11 am.
