Daily wager at actor’s farm booked for sexually harassing minor girl

Mysuru: A daily wager fixing horse shoes at the farm of an actor is booked on the charges of sexually harassing a 10-year-old minor girl, at Women’s police station in Mysuru rural sub-division.
A FIR has been booked in this regard on Thursday and the incident came to light on Friday.
The accused is working at the farm on the outskirts of Mysuru.
A complaint has been lodged on the basis of the victim’s mother’s statement to the police.
As the incident came to light, the manager of the Farm informed the police and the latter visited the farm.
According to the woman, the accused forced her daughter to undress and he was sleeping on her and doing absurd acts.
The incident came to light when the girl forced her mother to return home on September 15.
According to the woman, the accused has misbehaved with her daughter on several occasions earlier also.
The woman along with her husband had joined the farm one year ago. While she was doing the job of cooking, her husband was doing the job of milking cows and agricultural works.
She also has an eight year old son who is going to nearby government school. While her daughter was staying at the farm due to TC related issues.
The accused is one among 10 to 12 labourers working at the farm.
Police have registered a case under IPC sections 376 (1), 506 and 323 and POCSO (U/a 4, 8 and 12).
