Covid-19! MCC issues compensation cheques to deceased employees kin

Mysuru: Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) officials on Thursday handed over relief cheques to the next of kin of three employees who succumbed to Covid-19 pandemic recently.
One pourakarmika and two drivers succumbed to the virus. The compensation cheque for Rs five lakh each was handed over to the dependents of the deceased.
Mayor Rukmini Madegowda, Deputy Mayor Aftab Anwar Baig and MCC Commissioner Shilpa Nag were present.
