Covid-19! Mahadev Prasad Nagar in Gundlupet sealed down

Chamarajanagar: The district has recorded its first ever case of Covid-19, involving a native, in Gundlupet on Saturday.
Following this, the locality where the infected person was residing is declared as a containment area and has been sealed down.
The 39-year-old Eicher Mini Lorry driver is the person tested positive for the virus. He is a resident of Mahadeva Prasad Nagar in Gundlupet town.
As the virus was confirmed, the district administration took measures to inspect the place of residence and erected barricades to seal down the locality.
Deputy Commissioner M R Ravi and SP H D Anand Kumar and other officials inspected the spot.
