Covid-19 Fund! Kuvempunagar police gift back to society

Mysuru: The Kuvempunagar police handed over fund raised from the silver coins that they had received as gifts from producer Shruthi Naidu to the Chief Minister’s relief fund in the fight against Covid-19.
Actor and producer Shruthi Naidu had gifted silver coins to Kuvempunagar police station staff as a token of appreciation for their service during the lockdown. However, the staff decided to give back to the society.
Kuvempunagar Police Inspector G C Raju handed over Rs 21,000 collected from the silver coins to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
The cheque was handed over to Additional Deputy Commissioner B R Poornima.
