Conditions apply! Rs 18.5 crore sanctioned for Dasara

Bengaluru: State Government has issued an order to sanction Rs 18.5 crore for the celebration of Nada Habba Mysuru Dasara.
The government order ( GO) issued on August 28 confirms that the amount has been sanctioned and will be released to deputy commissioner in Mysuru through the office of director, Kannada and culture department, Bengaluru.
The amount has been sanctioned under the conditions that “The amount is sanctioned for Mysuru Dasara Mahotsav- 2019 and should be utilised for the same purpose. A certificate on the utilisation of fund and a certified balance sheet from chartered accountants should be submitted”, says the order issued from the office of under secretary, Kannada and Culture Department.
Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru had made a request to release Rs 18.5 crore (Including Chamarajanagar and Srirangapatna Dasara) during the high level meeting chaired by the chief minister in the city.
