Mysuru: Mysuru and Kodagu MP Prathap Simha accused Congress leaders of fomenting hatred in the society in the name of opposing Citizenship Amendment Act and National Register of Citizens ( NRC).
Simha told media persons on December 20 “Congress party is provoking muslim community through CAA and NRC. They have decided to trigger violence and gain sympathy by spreading romours”.
Strongly criticising the recent developments happening in Mangaluru and across the State, Simha blamed former minister and Ullal Congress MLA U T Khader.
He elaborated that from the last one week there are incidents of voilence and protests for and against the Central Government’s major decision to amend the Act and implement NRC.
There is no need to worry about the Act, which is mainly intended at safeguarding the interest of muslims and those residing outside the nation.
