CAA violence! BJP MP Prathap Simha blames Congress for fomenting hatred

1 min read

Mysuru: Mysuru and Kodagu MP Prathap Simha accused Congress leaders of fomenting hatred in the society in the name of opposing Citizenship Amendment Act and National Register of Citizens ( NRC).

Simha told media persons on December 20 “Congress party is provoking muslim community through CAA and NRC. They have decided to trigger violence and gain  sympathy by spreading romours”.

Strongly criticising the recent developments happening in Mangaluru and across the State, Simha blamed former minister and Ullal Congress MLA U T Khader.

He elaborated that from the last one week there are incidents of voilence and protests for and against the Central Government’s major decision to amend the Act and implement NRC.

There is no need to worry about the Act, which is mainly intended at safeguarding the interest of muslims and those residing outside the nation.

As the BJP is in power both at State and Central level, Congress party is instigating people to hold power through the backdoor.

Since Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to power, the grand old party is politically misusing the situations.

State Government has taken a timely action by imposing section 144 CrPC. Therefore there is no need to worry about it, said Simha.

BJP State secretary M Rajendra, former Mylac Chairman M V Ravishankar, BJP leaders Hemanth Kumar Gowda, M D Giridhar and Alanahalli Puttasawamy were present.
