Brisk preparations on for PM Modi’s public address at Nanjangud; trial runs of chopper held at temporary helipad

Mysuru: Brisk preparations are underway for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public address in view of May 10 election, at Elachagere Bore village in Nanjangud taluk on Sunday (May 7).
The works on building a temporary helipad using M-Sand at a nearby land is completed and trial runs on landing and take off, of the army helicopter was conducted, as part of the preparations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will land in a special flight at Mysuru Airport in Mandakalli on Mysuru- Nanjangud road and reach Elachagere Bore village in the chopper.
The works on erecting a huge dais with seating arrangements for the party workers is also nearing completion, with MLA and former Minister S A Ramadass supervising the arrangements, along with former ZP Vice-president Dr Shivaram, BJP leaders Shankar, Santosh Kumar B M, Samrat Sundareshan and several others.
Special Protection Group (SPG) personnel have also carried out several rounds of inspections for the smooth entry and exit of the Prime Minister, during his visit to Elachagere.
