Bommai inaugurates Naga Mantapa in Isha Yoga Center, C B Pur

Chikkaballapura: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai today inaugurated the Naga Mantapa in Isha Yoga Center, Bengaluru in the presence of Sadhguru, Founder- Isha Foundation.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the Naga Mantapa by offering Vilva Mala and an Arati to the deity.
K Sudhakar, Minister of Health & Family Welfare also joined local farmers and villagers in offering Arati to the shrine. The Naga Mantapa will be open to the public from October 10.
K Sudhakar, Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Deputy commissioner N M Nagaraj, SP D L Nagesh, Tahsildar Ganapati Shastry, District Registrar Sridevi along with more than 5000 residents of Chikkaballapur and nearby villages were present during the inauguration.

In Yogic sciences, Naga is an important form in accomplishing physical resilience and mystical access, and Naga’s grace is considered pivotal in removing unseen obstacles from one’s life. “All cultures across the world had Serpent worship,” said Sadhguru speaking about the significance of Naga Mantapa.
“Important thing about Naga is his Perception. Adiyogi keeps him near his head because he signifies Naga is better than him in perception,” added Sadhguru.
With this inauguration, the Bengaluru center of the Isha Foundation has become the first full-fledged center to come up in India after the Isha Yoga Center located in Coimbatore.
Speaking at the event, Sadhguru stressed the need to create a spiritual infrastructure and urged the involvement of the people of Chikkaballapur in making it happen. Revealing the upcoming consecrated spaces in the center, Sadhguru announced that a 112-feet Adiyogi Shiva statue, 8 Navagraha temples along with a unique Bhairavi temple will be established in the center.
“Sadhguru is a global Guru from Karnataka,” said the Chief Minister applauding his efforts and creativity in building the center.
Praising Sadhguru for undertaking the Save Soil movement, the Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to saving soil in the state.
“Sadhguru is in our farmer’s hearts,” said Bommai promising his full commitment and collaboration with Isha in implementing the ecological endeavor envisioned by Sadhguru.
K Sudhakar recalled his conversation with Sadhguru two years ago when he requested him to build a Yoga Center in Chikkaballapura.
Expressing his disbelief and admiration at the breakneck speed with which the center has come up he asserted that the center will emerge as an iconic place in Karnataka.
The center will additionally host the Isha Leadership Academy which will offer the highest quality of leadership education in India along with Isha Rejevunation that will allow individuals to experience inner peace and the joy of a healthy body.
Isha Samskriti and Isha Samskriti and Isha Homeschool will also be established further defining the quality education benchmarks in the country.
Sadhguru activities have delved into creating internal as well as economic and ecological well-being in society. To that end, a new Center for Developing Farmer Produce Organisations(FPOs) will be created in the center.
