BLDE VC Dr M S Biradar critical, air lifted to Bengaluru

Vijayapura: Health condition of Dr M S Biradar, Vice- chancellor of BLDE (deemed) University is critical and has been air lifted to Bengaluru on Tuesday.
Biradar is admitted to Apollo Hospital, Bannerghatta in Bengaluru, according to M B Patil MLA and Chairman of BLDE Association.
Patil has stated that “Biradar who was taking care of Covid patients in the hospital was tested positive recently. He was under home quarantine. However he suffered a heart attack and slipped in the bathroom and suffered a fracture. He was immediately rushed to BLDEA Hospital and was provided treatment.”
Upon learning about the incident, Patil came to Vijayapura from Bengaluru and made arrangements to shift Biradar to Bengaluru in an air ambulance.
