Mysuru: BJP national general secretary C T Ravi has served a legal notice to KPCC Spokesperson M Lakshman of Mysuru.
Mahesha P AMN and Co advocates and legal consultants have issued the notice dated April 25 on behalf of their client C T Ravi.

This follows the remarks made by Lakshman calling C T Ravi as Looti Ravi and accusing him of amassing wealth along with his brother-in-law Sudarshan in Chikkamagaluru and various other places.
It has been specified that “Lakshman should tender an unconditional and written apology before the public, print and digital media and other social media platforms within 48 hours of the receipt of this notice. You are also called upon cease and desist from making misleading, fake, unsubstantiated and false and unverified statements in the print and digital media and other social media platforms. You are also called upon to delete and get removed 7 minutes and 37 seconds video clipping making baseless and frivolous statement against C T Ravi and his brother in law in your news conference dated April 20 from all mediums”.
If yourself obliges with the demands specified in this notice and withdraw the untrue, false and defamatory imputations and publish an unconditional apology as required by C T Ravi, yourself may avoid the consequences of a litigation which may be commenced both in civil and criminal lines without any further reference to you in case of your non-compliance at your cost and consequence.
Please note that you are liable to pay Rs 25,000 towards issuance of this notice, reads the concluding paragraphs of the eight page legal notice.
