40 graduate from International Institute for Assisted Reproduction Technology and Research Centre, Mysuru

Mysuru: International Institute for Assisted Reproduction Technology and Research centre celebrated its first graduation day on Sunday, at Jal Mahal resorts, Mysore.

The course, MSc degree in assisted reproduction and embryology was started in the year 2019, with the mission of training the students in clinical embryology, to meet the shortage of properly trained embryologists.

The course is affiliated to University of Mysore. The institute has students from 24 different states. It has 100% pass percentage and 100% placements. In all 40 students graduated in the batch.

Prof G Hemanth Kumar VC of University of Mysore inaugurates the first graduation day ceremony of International Institute for Assisted Reproduction Technology and Research Centre, Mysuru 

The graduation ceremony was presided by Dr Hemanth Kumar G, honorable vice chancellor, University of Mysore, Dr M.A Shekhar, honorable vice chancellor, Adichunchungiri University and Dr Lokanatha N A, director PMEB, University of Mysore.

The function was joined by  Dr Santhrupth H.V, managing director, Dr Shilpa Santhrupth, the principal and Dr M S Srinivas , the course director.

The degree was conferred to the graduates by the chief guests.

Dr Hemanth Kumar G, congratulated the graduates and spoke that “there is a need for recognition of such skilled, career oriented courses and the technology should reach the society”.

He also wished that the institution be recognized not only nationally but globally.

Dr M A Shekhar taught the students three life success mantras – courage, compassion and honesty.

He further recommended to listen to the speech – The Blueprint by Martin Luther King junior and told them that to be inspired by it, to never stop dreaming and to work hard to achieve these dreams.

Dr Lokanath spoke a few words of wisdom. To be educated, skilled, productive and innovative for the growth of the country.

He advised the students to realise their potential, work for it and make their parents and country proud.

He ended his speech with a Nelson Mandela quote “Education is the most powerful weapon to change the world, now it is up to you to prove”.
