Bike lifter arrested; six bikes and a tractor seized from him

Mysuru: The district police have arrested a serial bike lifter and have seized six bikes and one tractor from him. The total value of seized vehicles is said to be around Rs 8 lakh.
Following a bike (KA 45 H 2134) theft complaint by one Prasanna in Periyapatna station recently, the police were on the trail of a bike lifter. According to the complainant, he had parked the bike near the Tobacco Board, Kaggundi, Periyapatna taluk on February 11 which was later found to be missing.
A team of police officers including Mahesh MK, DSP Hunsur and K V Sridhar, Police Inspector, Periyaptna was formed on the directions of
SP Seema Latkar and Additional SP Dr Nandini B N.
The SP has commended the services of K V Sridhar, PI, Periyapatna, Prakash Madlur, PSI and police staff K S Lingarajappa and Satish Kumar.
