Mysuru: A 27-year-old youth who made a bid to sell a stolen two- wheeler for a song has been arrested by V V Puram police. Four vehicles valued at Rs one lakh have been recovered from him.
Manukunar from Halepura in Harave hobli in Chamarajanagar was looking for a gullible customer near Ramanna circle in Yadavgiri, when the police nabbed him on suspicion.
He has confessed to have lifted vehicles in Mysuru city and Nanjangud. Two cases reported in Nanjangud and one in each of Saraswatipuram and V V Puram are solved.
The police team included Inspector H S Vinay, ASI Mahadeva Nayak, Constables Somashekar, Eranna, Prasanna, Diwaker, Suresh and Manjunath.
