Amid Covid surge, Karnataka reports highest 58,395 single day discharges

Bengaluru: In a major relief amid surge in Covid cases, Karnataka recorded highest ever 58,395 discharges in a single day on Tuesday. Today’s positive cases are 30,309.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr K Sudhakar shared the data about today’s Covid positive and discharged numbers, on his Twitter handle.
It shows progressive steps regarding Covid management.
The discharges were more than the day’s positive cases.
In Bengaluru too, positive cases reduced to 8,676 and discharges 31,795.
Karnataka is under stricter lockdown since May 10 and it ends on May 24.
