Alert villagers nab four cow lifters in K R Nagar

Mysuru: Alert villagers at Diddalli in K R Nagar taluk in the district have nabbed four cow lifters during the wee hours of August 24.
The suspects have been handed over to the police.
Ramachandra from Ichanahalli and Beeresh from Diddalli in K R Nagar, Devaraj Nayak and Chandra Nayak from Kolavige in Hunsur, were transporting the cattle lifted at Diddalli, in a goods autorickshaw at about 3.30 am, when the villagers got to know about it.
They waylaid the auto and a car, the suspects were travelling in, near Ramalingeshwara Temple Gate at Hosur. They caught hold of the suspects and beat them black and blue.
The police visited the spot and took the suspects into custody, along with the vehicles.
