ADC Anand leads Corona Warriors in performing last rites of Covid victim

Chamarajanagar: At a time when the Corona Warriors are risking their lives in the fight against Coronavirus, Additional Deputy Commissioner C L Anand went a step ahead to boost the morale of the warriors.
Anand led the warriors in performing the final rites of a person from Bastipura who died of Covid-19 at the Covid hospital in the district, on Thursday.
The officer was a part of the dedicated team from carrying the body from mortuary to the place identified to perform the funeral in the district.
Anand accompanied by other personnel in the exclusive team conducted the last rites as per the protocol. As a precautionary measure, the team wore personal protective equipment ( PPE) kit.
