Grenade like object found in B’luru railway station
1 min readBengaluru: While the whole of police force was busy looking after security arrangements related to the counting of votes of recently held urban local body elections in the State, a suspected bomb like object was found in Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station in the city on Friday.
After thorough inspection it was surmised to be a country made Grenade, but nothing is confirmed yet from official sources.
It was found among a heap of sacks next to the railway track at platform number one. An alert passenger who noticed the suspicious object brought it to the notice of authorities, it is reported.
Government railway police men and railway protection force personnel rushed to the spot. Bomb detection squad has reportedly taken the suspicious object for the laboratory.
It is suspected to be planted by an unidentified person at about 8.45 am.
