MLA Tanveer Sait’s condition still critical, says doctor

Mysuru: The condition of MLA and former minister Tanveer Sait is still critical, according to the doctors treating him at Columbia Asia Hospital.
Dr Upendra Shenoy the medical superintendent of the hospital told media on November 18 “The bleeding was stopped after multi-disciplinary operation by a team of doctors including himself, Dr Maqsood and neuro expert Dr Dattatri. He had grievous injuries to blood vessels, nerves and surrounding Internal organs in the neck. The bleeding is under control and is on ventilator and drugs to maintain blood pressure. He was transfused blood as he had a heavy loss of blood. His current condition is critical and is under continuous monitoring in ICU”.
Tanveer Sait was attending a marriage relatrd dinner of his relative at Balbhavan in Bannimantap when a person identified as Farhan Pasha attacked him with a knife on November 17.
