Harshitha from Mysuru wins ‘Miss Super Model India title’

Mysuru: Harshitha Devaraju of Mysuru has won ‘Miss Super Model of India 2023’ title in the Yash Internaticonal Fashion Week Beauty Pageant held in Bengaluru recently.
In the same event, Harshitha also won ‘Best Ramp Walk’ title. She is pursuing final Year BA at Teresian College and is the daughter of Devaraju K M and Shobha L couple.
Among 20 qualified participants, 5.2 ft tall Harshitha who got into modeling just two years back impressed the jurists with her overall good performance to win the coveted title.
She has also won ‘Freshie Queen of Teresian College 2021’, ‘Mysore Angel 2022’, ‘Miss Dazzling Icon of Karnataka 2023’ and ‘Best Model Icon of Karnataka 2023’.

Harshitha shared “Before the name was announced, when I was shortlisted I was just watching my mother; when the judge announced my name, my mother was overcome with emotion and started crying; after seeing her I too got emotional. It was a tough competition because all the 20 other contestants were very talented and most of them had participated in various beauty pageants including national level beauty pageants”.
It was also my mother’s dream to see me do well in the beauty pageant, said Harshitha.
“I am waiting for opportunities and want to excel more in modeling at national and international levels. Apart from this, at the same time I also want to do MA in English literature” added Harshitha, who is also interested in acting in films.
