Chief Secretary Ravikumar denies receiving resignation letter of MCC Commissioner

Mysuru: Chief Secretary P Ravikumar on Friday denied that he has received the resignation letter of MCC Commissioner Shilpa Nag, a 2014 batch IAS officer.
The chief secretary who arrived at Administrative Training Institute ( ATI) on Lalith Mahal Road in the city, to chair Covid progress review meeting, was greeted by waiting media persons.
As a question over the spat between two IAS officers( DC Rohini Sindhuria another IAS officer) escalating with MCC Commissioner Shilpa Nag announcing her resignation and submitted to the chief secretary was raised, the latter said “Nanage Kottillappa” ( Resignation letter is not given to me).
Even as the media persons continued to ask questions, the chief secretary chose to remain mum and walked towards the meeting hall.
Regional Commissioner G C Prakash and Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri were present.
While Shilpa Nag was conspicuous by her absence.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Corporators led by acting mayor Anwar Baig arrived at ATI. The delegation includes Congress’ Ayub Khan and JDS Prema Shankaregowda.
