I stand with our Commissioner! Corporators, pourakarmikas launch protest at MCC

Mysuru: Pourakarmikas led by Corporators irrespective of party have launched a protest in support of Mysuru City Corporation Commissioner Shilpa Nag on Friday.
The pourakarmikas raised slogans against Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri.
They held placards highlighting the works initiated by MCC Commissioner to fight Covid-19 like- Rs five lakh relief announced for next of kin of pourakarmikas, Covid Mitra, Covid Tele Care, Covid Care Centre and door-to-door survey and measures to instil confidence among the infected.
A banner saying – I Stand with our Commissioner has been tied to the poles of the portico of MCC main building.
Acting Mayor Anwar Baig, former mayor and senior Corporator Ayub Khan, Corporators B V Manjunath, Shivakumar, SBM Manju and several others are in the lead of the protest.
