CBSE Class 10th, 12th exams in May, June

Mysuru: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Thursday declaredthat exams for Class 10 and Class 12 students in schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be held from May 4 to June 10 and results will be announced on July 15,
The Minister said, CBSE will take all the necessary measures to ensure safety of the student during Covid-19 pandemic. “The examinations will be conducted with the same proficiency as JEE and NEET exams,” Pokhriyal said.
He also said that with the outbreak of Covid-19, the education system in the country has shifted to online mode. He expressed gratitude to the teachers and the students for their consistent support and cooperation. The Minister also urged the parents, the students and the teachers to extend support further.
The CBSE has reduced syllabus for each subject by 30 per cent to cope with the academic amid COVID-19 pandemic and the question paper pattern will be based on the reduced syllabus. The revised syllabuses of the exam are available on CBSE website.
