Keyboard artiste Ganesh Bhat from Mysuru selected for ‘Karnataka Kalasri’ award

Mysuru: Ganesh Bhat a noted keyboard player from the city has been selected for ‘Karnataka Kalasri’ award for the year 2020-21.
According to the list of awardees announced by Sangeet, Nritya Academy “Bhat is among the 16 artistes selected for the annual award”.
The names were selected in a meeting chaired by academy chairman Anur Anantha Krishna Sharma.
The award carries a citation and purse of Rs 25,000. The award will be presented on February 6 at Ravindra Kalakshetra in Bengaluru.
Apart from them, two senior artistes- R P Asundi of Dharwad and Rama Arvind of Hariharapura are selected for honorary award. It carries a purse of Rs 50,000.
