Mysuru: City police have seized a total of 281 vehicles for violating the travel norms related to Covid Lockdown on Thursday.
According to a press release from police commissioner’s office, 248 two- wheelers, 28 cars, four autorickshaws and one goods autorickshaw have been seized.
The Covid Curfew is in place from April 27 to May 12 to contain the second wave of the pandemic.
The city police have been strictly monitoring the guidelines and anybody found moving without reasons in violation of guidelines will be strictly dealt by seizing their vehicles and initiate action, Police Commissioner Dr Chandragupta has warned.
