Mysuru: Former minister and Congress MLA B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan on Wednesday mocked at JDS saying it will be reduced to a single digit in the next Assembly elections.
Referring to the Legislative Council elections on December 10, where JDS is contesting seven seats against total 25 seats, Zameer alleged that ” There must be a match-fixing between BJP and JDS. The party should have fielded candidates for all the seats. If the party lacks contestants they should have at least clarified on these lines.”
It seems to be JDS tactics to help BJP in the elections, he alleged further.
Zameer also termed Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s visit to rain hit areas in Bengaluru as namesake as the latter didn’t lend his ear to the grievances of the affected or announced any relief for them. The perfunctory visit won’t help the flood affected lot, felt Zameer.
