Following the media reports over graffiti marring the beauty of the view point situated on the road leading to Nandi statue at the hill shrine, 15 volunteers of Yuva Brigade on Monday afternoon decided to take the onus of cleaning upon them. They pat drove to the hill, removed the graffiti ignoring sun hovering on the top for three hours. With a fresh cost of paint, the walls and pillars of the much accessed tourist spot was back to its original charm.

Strangely the police who had turned a blind eye when the miscreants were marring the structure, stopped to ask the volunteers when they were redoing the walls with paint.

Suneel Kumar a member of the brigade told Mysooru News, ‘ When we learnt about none of the elected representatives attending to the complaint, we the members discussed among ourselves and the result is overwhelming’.

Graffiti like- Malappuram and Kerala, KL 10 and KL 14, No Smoking and other abusive words were scribbled in bold on the walls triggering outrage among a group of concerned citizens. Mysuru Memes a Twitter handle raised the issue with photos giving a disturbing sight of the view point.
