Youths should be prepared to understand ethics: Santosh Hegde

Mysuru: Former Lokayukta Justice N Santosh Hegde said ” Youths should be prepared to understand political ethics in the country”.
Speaking at the eighth two-day advocates convention organised by All India Lawyers Union ( AILU) at Cauvery Auditorium of Karnataka State Open University ( KSOU) Hegde said ” It is significant to educate the younger generation about ethics. Or else, the social justice will be on the wane”.
In the relevant political scenario, people who are released from jail are getting a red carpet welcome. They will be greeted with garlands made of apple.
Humanity is taking a back seat and people should learn the joy pf satisfaction. As wealth in the country is not equally distributed among the people, said Hegde.
Lawyers union president Bikas Ranjan Bhattacharya said ” As many as 29 lakh lawyers are practising law across the country. We are considered as social engineers, as we work for the nation’s progress and help the deprived sections- of the society”.
