Youth murders brother-in-law, surrenders to cops with chopped arm

Mysuru: In a gruesome incident a youth murdered his brother-in-law and surrendered to police on Sunday.

Mohammed Saran (26) is that person who was bludgeoned to death by his brother-in-law (wife’s brother) Kadir at Ghousianagar in the city.
Later, Kadir who chopped the right hand of his brother-in-law surrendered to Udaygiri police, with the butchered hand in the bag.
Police sources told Mysoorunews.com “Saran had married Rubeena of Ghousianagar five months ago. He was given enough dowry and also household articles at the time of marriage. But Saran who was a spend thrift had sold all the articles and was harassing his wife for more. The couple was often quarrelling and the issue had even reached police.”
Rubeena was the youngest among four daughters and two sons to her father. Moreover her father was suffering from cardiac ailments.
Kadir was disturbed after seeing his father suffering further due to his brother-in-law’s weird behaviour.
On Sunday Kadir allegedly went to Saran’s house and beat him black and blue and dragged him to his house. There he allegedly locked him in a room and thrashed him for troubling his sister.
Meanwhile, Saran’s brother rushed to the station to inform police.
Later Kadir chopped Saran’s right arm with a weapon even as the latter was pleading for life. He himself shot the video even as his brother-in-law was taking his last breath.
The video went viral on social media.
Police are learnt to have filed a FIR against Kadir, Rubeena, her older brother and father.
