Young theatre, folk artiste Ankaraju N to receive Kannadambe Award

Mysuru: Young theatre and folk artiste Ankaraju N will be honored with the Kannadambe State-Level Award for his contributions to theatre and folk arts.
To celebrate the 69th Kannada Rajyotsava on November 17, the Kannadambe Rakshana Vedike will honour young achievers from Mysuru district at the Kannada Sahitya Parishat district office in Vijayanagar here, where Ankaraju will receive this distinguished award.
Ankaraju runs the Sathiviki Foundation and is active in theatre as an actor, director, and folk arts trainer in Mysuru.
According to Vedike president Rekha Gowda, Ankaraju has trained numerous artists and significantly promoted theatre in Mysuru for over a decade.
“In recognition of his valuable contributions, we are proud to honor him with this state-level award,” Gowda stated.
