Yes! JD(S) supported BJP in Mysuru- Kodagu LS seat
1 min readMysuru: Adding to the worries of coalition partners Janata Dal ( Secular) and Congress parties especially in Mysuru- Kodagu Lok Sabha constituency, district minister G T Devegowda has admitted that ” JDS workers have voted for BJP candidate in some parts of the constituency”.
Gowda told media on Wednesday ‘ In my constituency ( Chamundeshwari) the party workers in Udbur Gram Panchayat limits have supported BJP. It is only the Congress workers who have voted for their party candidate in the fray’.
Such a development is not unexpected as both the party workers are sworn enemies in Chamundeshwari constituency, he claimed.
Sitting BJP MP Pratap Simha is seeking re-election, and Congress has fielded C H Vijayashankar with the support of JD(S).
The election concluded on April 18 and results will be announced on May 23 the day to count votes.
