Yellow Day celebrated at Nireekshe Special School

Mysuru: Yellow Colour Theme Day was celebrated at Nireekshe Special School in the city recently.
The students were introduced to the concept of the colour with the help of various items like- eatables, toys, fruits, vegetables, clothes, cartoon characters and other articles to help them identify the colour.
Principal Hemamalini Krupakar taught a rhyme on Yellow. She also made hand prints and created images of pineapple, giraffe, hen, chicks, fish, girl with a gown etc.,
The children did vegetable printing and participated in memory game. Yellow ambience was created at the school by hanging yellow coloured balloons.
The staff and children wore yellow coloured dress.
Chairman of the school Praveen Krupakar also spoke about the significance of the colour.
