Yaduveer’s tryst with wildlife and tiger

Mysuru: Wadiyars the erstwhile kings of Mysuru laid foundation for conservation of wildlife. It has been continued by the present scion of the family Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar.

On account of World Tiger Day, Yaduveer has posted a video shot by himself on his Facebook wall to highlight the significance of protecting big cats for posterity.

The video titled ‘Wildlife Diaries#1’ (Screen shot seen above) shot in Nagarahole, with the tiger soaking itself in water, with the chirping birds providing a perfect background music in the backdrop in the pristine jungle. The tiger later walks on the bund encounters another tiger awhile before continuing to move further in its true majestic style, with its feet firm on the ground.

Within one hour of posting the video, it has been shared by 12 facebook users and liked by close to 150 and the likes are sure to increase, given the number of growing tribe of wildlife lovers.

Yaduveer’s message is as follows- The tiger is the symbol of India’s vibrant and exotic bio-diversity. It is The imperative need to protect the tiger and the entire ecosystem around this great animal.
