Yaduveer Wadiyar visits Adhichunchanagiri Mutt, seeks divine power to win polls

Mandya: Scion of erstwhile royal family of Mysuru Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar is overwhelmed by the positive response received from BJP and JDS leaders and workers, following the announcement of his candidature from BJP for the Lok Sabha elections from Mysuru- Kodagu constituency.

Speaking to media persons at Adhichunchanagiri Mutt in Nagamangala taluk on Sunday Yaduveer said “The response from party workers was good during my visit to the offices in Mysuru and Kodagu Constituency in the last two days. I will be touring across the constituency in the coming days. Prathap Simha, the sitting MP also pledged his support after my name was announced officially as the party candidate. If I succeed in the elections, I will look forward to seek his cooperation in continuing with the development works initiated during his tenure.”

Yaduveer arrived for a traditional welcome with Mangala vadya played in the backdrop at the Mutt. He sought the blessings of presiding deity Kalabhyraveshwara Swamy.
It was also his maiden visit to the shrine after he was declared as BJP candidate for the Lok Sabha elections.

Adhichunchanagiri Mutt Seer Sri Dr Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji, Mysuru Branch Mutt seer Sri Somanatha Swamiji and others were present.
