World Farmers Day celebration on December 23 in Mysuru: Publicity begins

Mysuru: The publicity for the forthcoming World Farmers Day celebration on December 23 in the city, was launched from Kanchamalli village in H D Kote taluk in the district on Saturday.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Union Minister of State for Railways V Somanna and other dignitaries will be taking part in the celebration, organised jointly by the Federation Of State Farmers Organisations, Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha, Hasiru Sene and State Sugarcane Growers Association, at Convocation Hall of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) in the city.
The farmers were invited to attend the celebration in large numbers, with the programme organised to raise several issues related to agrarian community.
The villages like Hirenandi, Chinnahalli, Hampapura, Hommaragalli, Palya, Madapura, Herige were covered during the publicity programme.
