Works on modern abattoir in Mysuru stopped for now

Mysuru: The works on modern abattoir in Kesare in the city will be stopped for now.
Following the objections raised by residents of Kesare and surrounding areas, district minister V Somanna directed Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) to stop the works.
The minister assured to visit the spot before taking a decision.
Chamundeshwari MLA G T Devegowda, Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Sankar and MCC Commissioner Gurudatta Hegde were present.
