Women race to climb Chamundi Hill top

Mysuru: Hundreds of women on Sunday vied with each other to climb the top of Chamundi Hill. Abhyudaya Mahila Samaja, J P Nagar, 
had organised the hill climbing competition through 1,000 steps from the foothills of Chamundi.
The competition was open for the women in the age groups of 20 to 30 years and 31 to 45 years.
The first prize winner will carry home Rs 3,000 cash prize, second prize- Rs 2,000 and third prize- Rs 1,000.
MLA S A Ramdas flagged off the race.
