Woman’s burnt body found near KRS Sagarakatte

Mysuru: A woman’s body has been found in a charred condition at KRS Backwater Sagarakatte on Wednesday.
The victim could be around 25 -30 years of age and she could have been burnt burnt alive, suspected localities who noticed fire on Tuesday evening. They immediately alerted the police.
Yelwal police rushed to the spot to find a woman’s body being burnt. The body has been sent to mortuary.
It is said that the culprits took advantage of the decrease in KRS water level to commit the crime.
Water level in KRS has touched 80 ft.
