Woman run over by train; dies with severed legs
1 min readMysuru: A 37-year-old woman was run over by a train allegedly at K R Nagar railway station in the district on Sunday.
Railway police said the dead person was identified as Devakamma wife of Krishna Nayak, Gavadgere, Hanchya hobli in K R Nagar taluk.
She was crossing the track at platform two when she was accidentally run over by a train at about 6.45 pm. Both of her legs were severed and was rushed to K R Hospital in an ambulance. She did not survive as she breathed her last midway.
Railway police have registered a case.
