Woman hangs self to death after killing her two-year-old son in Nanjangud

Nanjangud: In a horrific incident a woman allegedly committed suicide after killing her two-year-old son over a family dispute at Gattawadipura village in Nanjangud taluk.
Annapoorna (22) wife of Mahadeva Prasad and her son Mokshith (2) are the deceased. She drowned her son in a water bucket before hanging self.
A native of Ummatthur in Chamarajanagar district Annapoorna married was married to Mahadevaprasad two years ago.
The couple were frequently quarrelling and dejected Annapoorna took the extreme step, it is said.
DySP Govindaraju, Circle inspector Lakshmikanth Talawar and Doddakavalande Police Sub- inspector Mahendra visited the spot.
