Woman found murdered with slit throat, paramour arrested

Mysuru: In a gruesome incident a man allegedly murdered his lover by slitting her throat in south police limits on Friday. The aaccused has been arrested by the police.
The deceased is Amreen (35) who met her ghastly end at the hands of her lover Rizwan, 35, an autorickshaw driver. Both were married and had extra- marital affair, it is said.
Amreen who had separated from her husband, was staying with her two children. She was having an illicit affair with Rizwan from over one year. He had also arranged a house for her in Ambedkar Nagar in the outskirts.
In the recent months, Amreen was pestering Rizwan to severe ties with his wife and marry her. But, Rizwan was unwilling to do so.
As Amreen turned adamant, he took her in his auto to Satagalli ‘B’ zone on Friday, where he allegedly slit her throat with a sharp weapon.
The body was later abandoned on the road.
A case has been registered.
