Woman found murdered in Malavalli; body disposed on road!

Mandya: An unidentified woman was found murdered near Naripura village in Malavalli taluk in the district on August 17.
The body was found disposed on Malavalli- T Narsipur main road. The victim is suspected to have been murdered with a stone grinder.
The body was covered with dried ragi grass, as it is common in the rural parts to spread paddy and other grasses to grind under the wheels of moving vehicles.
To mislead the police, the perpetrators are suspected to have covered the body with grass, with the anticipation that any vehicles will move on the body, to give it a colour of road accident.
An alert driver who noticed a part of the leg jutting out from the grass informed the police.
Belakavadi police visited the spot and secured the road where body is disposed.
