Woman found dead at hotel is an engg student at city college; DCP visits spot
1 min readMysuru: A 21-year-old woman who was found dead mysteriously at a hotel in the city is an engineering student of a reputed college.
She is identified as Apoorva Shetty from Periyapatna studying her final year engineering in the city. She was along with a youth when they checked into the room at Quorum Hotel, Vinobha road in the city on August 29.
DCP (Law and Order) Pradeep Gunti said “We receved the information from hotel and our forensic team and police rushed to the spot. The body has been sent for postmortem and it is only after that exact cause of death will be known”.
There are possibilities of banging her head against the wall and also poisoning, it is suspected as per the circumstantial evidences gathered on the spot.
